I'm always a little weary when booking into a bed and breakfast. You just never know what your hosts are going to be like, I guess its the same for them too. However, after spending 4 nights at this cottage I can highly recommend it to any one wanting to visit Goathland. Pauline and Dennis were very accomodating, it was...

Pauline and Dennis are a very friendly couple and excellent hosts. We stayed with them for 3 nights in the middle of October and really enjoyed our time there, very nice room and superb breakfasts. Hope to visit again in the future and have no hesitation in recommending Mulgrave Cottage, definitely 10/10.

Although as Americans we knew nothing about Goathland's television show connections, we couldn't have stumbled onto a better place to stay. The location is beautiful; the owners friendly and helpful, the accommodation clean and comfortable; breakfast delicious. We'd love to go back.
