This was the most perfect setting for the tea after my husbands funeral. A sit down tea, huge pots of tea and coffee, home made cakes, scones, AND some gluten free as requested. Excellent staff. Many thanks. Joy

Nice quaint hotel. Very whimsical. I really liked the fact there was baskets outside our room with essentials such as tampons, cotton buds and other necessities. The service was great and breakfast lovely.

Sadly we only had a single night's stay at Springwells but what a pleasure the whole experience was. No it's not the cheapest option but worth the extra few ££'s for the effort made to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. We were welcomed with a complimentary glass of fizz and shown to our rooms. The rooms are in...

Spent an overnight of delight here. Loved it start to finish. The Christmas decorations were amazing. Cosy, yet sumptuous, friendly, yet full of warm British efficiency. From the welcome glass of Prosecco, to the last mouthful of delicious full English this place comes highly recommended. Well appointed rooms, with none of the clinical sameness you find in chain hotels. Everything...

The price in my eyes is well over the top . I have stayed all over the world so I'm in a good position to rate this place. We had just attended a Family wedding and decided to have two nights in this place. As mentioned the breakfast was very good ( they do a whisky porridge ) along with...

I have known this hotel for 14 years. This is the best place to stay in Steyning and also has a reputation among the local population for its very good breakfasts and Cream Tea's (which I personally love). All the staff are very helpful and attentive.

Very definitely a family run hotel. A wonderfully warm welcome and a real desire from everyone to make my short stay (just one night) as pleasant as possible. I was offered sparkling wine on arrival - but as it was just after 3:00pm I felt this was probably a bit early. My room was 'Pine' on the top floor, under...

A glass of bubbles on arrival, very helpful staff, a really comfortable bed and a hot shower... what more do you want after a 20 mile walk... superb! We didn't use it but the hotel also has an outdoor swimming pool and a small conservatory / bar... next time swimming shorts will be a must. Even though my room was...

Friendly check in with a complimentary glass of bubbly wine, which we drank whilst outside by the swimming pool enjoying the last of the day's sunshine. Our room was quite small but the spacious bathroom was a bonus. We had cheese and biscuits in the lounge later in the evening which was a thoughtful touch as this was free to...

We stayed in the room "Yew" on the top floor which is also the room people would run though if there was a fire! i found that a bit odd. The room was clean , older with comfortable beds and had a nice bathroom. There booking system could definitely be more organised . Breakfast was quite good served in Dining...
