What a great find! I immediately felt welcome to this comfortable, well presented, light and airy guest house. The room was very pleasant and clean, and it was clear that everything had been thought through very carefully - right down to offering a range of little milks (full-fat or semi-skimmed little milk pods as well as cream!) all kept in...

A very warm welcome on arrival, immediately I knew this was a good choice . The whole place was spotless, and very comfortable. Breakfast was a treat with a full English freshly cooked with a great choice of fresh fruit , yogurts , cereals , Danish pastries and fruit juice . I highly recommend The Coast Yard

We arrived for a wedding and had booked to stay here at the coast yard. It blew us away as soon as we got there. The owners were warm and welcoming but the decor was what amazes me. It was fresh and Modern. You get a key to the front door and your room. The room we had room 5...

What a lovely B&B - just wish we'd found it earlier. Claire and Paul were so friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable and very well appointed and the dining room was bright and spacious with a lovely outlook onto the beautiful garden. An added bonus was the bar and lounge area. The decor throughout was fresh and stylish...

Claire was friendly and welcoming and her attention to detail followed through from the bedrooms to the breakfast table. Breakfast was excellent, beautifully cooked...

The place is beautiful, spotlessly clean and the kind of place I would be proud to own, great room and fantastic breakfast, thank you Claire and...

Very welcoming, warm and cosy which was particularly needed as Storm Doris hit the night we stayed! The owners are very friendly and helpful. Loved the quiet surroundings. Breakfast was really good - just the right amount and lovely quality ingredients served in a pretty, bright and sunny room. We are due back in the area in the coming months...

You'd find it hard to find anywhere to stay for under £80 (for double) nowadays. This place is around that price and a lot better than many places I've stayed. Very clean. Very friendly owners. Bar if you want it. Shower not 5 star but pretty good. Breakfast good, better ingrediants than many a B & B - not sure...
