Brilliant old fashioned guest house. Miles better than any modern Inn or Lodge and not on a motorway. So quiet. Breakfast was really good too. Floorboards creaked a bit but so would you aged 170. Kevin was really helpful and made us feel welcome
Booked a room for one night. Friendly service from start to finish. Lovely setting in own grounds. Breakfast excellent with a good choice. Room clean and spacious for our needs. Will definitely use again

We were a group of four friends and stayed here for two nights. As per previous comments, the hotel is dated but is very clean and tidy. The only negatives were the bathroom door wouldn't close properly and the shower head is not wall mounted....More
Stayed here for one night in July as part of a cycling trip - we arrived at 8.30pm later than planned. Kevin was very helpful in booking us a table at the local indian as everything else was closed.
