Really hard to review. Staff friendly. Room large and clean. Breakfast freshly cooked to order. Lovely selection of hot drink options in the room and at breakfast. Very comfortable. But..... just spend a little and it could be great. Just a little bit of freshening up would make all the difference. The colour scheme was depressing and so dated. Had...

Friendly reception and most efficient check-in. Very comfortable room with good sleep quality and quiet. Safe parking and good bar amenities and menu. Breakfast fresh and more than ample with superb service. Price and value right on the money. After a first stay here, it's a natural for a return visit!

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. We liked the intimate atmosphere. Original pub-food, and a very flexible management, which fixed our problem with the booking very quickly. Pretty near to Leeds castle and I also liked the village as it is very nice.

Just returned from a two night stay at the Roebuck Inn. Welcomed by bar staff on arrival, a polite young lady who showed us to our room. I had emailed ahead asking for a cool room. After a few minutes in the room we realised how warm it was so opened the windows and put the fan on. Unfortunately the...

I spent 11 months (no, not a typo!) at The Roebuck when I was working on a fixed term contract in the area and never once considered going somewhere else. It's a simple country pub with accommodation and restaurant so don't expect 5 star luxury. But the rooms are clean, warm and quiet and although it is part of a...

I booked my Mum in for a stay. She had the chalet room at the back of the pub as opposed to the rooms above. She absolutely loved it. When I asked her what the best bits were she said the breakfast and the service at breakfast. Thanks for looking after my Mum. My Step-Dad is terminally ill and I...

What a great place to stay. From the moment we entered the pub we could see it was a lovely place, large are downstairs, clean and tidy, very polite staff and a very good selection of real ale. Check in was easy and the price was very good. We were shown to our room and everything was explained to us...

Just spent 3 nights at the Roebuck. No complaints, fabulous breakfasts, friendly staff. Asked for a quiet room at the time of booking in Feb, and got a room in the annex just next to the pub. Good parking and internet access. Thanks you Roebuck

Decent enough. Stayed the night before Leeds Castle pink ribbon walk. Room fine, squeaky bed, good shower room, nice and clean, bit dated Food good but menu needs overhall. Brilliant breakfast, hot and freshly cooked Downside landlords children riding scooters around the bar after closing time.

Thank you for your review. We are currently replacing our beds and am sorry to hear that your bed was squeaky. Our menu is due to change this coming week, something we try to do every 3-4 months. I am sorry to hear that the children riding scooters was a downside to your visit, this wasn't the landlords children and...

Luverly! Stayed here with my boyfriend after doing a breast cancer walk at nearby Leeds Castle. I was tired and a bit emotional after and the staff could not have been nicer - even offering table service for drinks on the patio. I had only been able to get a twin room when I made the booking but we were...

We are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay, we work hard to ensure all goes well and meeting guests needs is our priority so being able to accommodate your change of room was a pleasure.
