Recently stayed here in a suite situated above the spa, the rooms were tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. The main hall was delightful, the staff were very accommodating and pleasant, even though they were very busy, as their was weddings on consecutive days during our stay, though I must point out these did not interfere or impede the service that...

This was our first stay at Headlam so didn't know what to expect but we were not disappointed. We stayed for three nights in the main hall in deluxe room which was really lovely. We stayed on a spring break which included a la carter dinner and the food was fantastic. Whilst the menu did not change whilst we were...

We stayed in an annex room, which was absolutely delightful in all respects - modern, clean and comfortable. The food was great and staff were helpful and friendly. Would love to go back for another "bargain" break soon.

Lovely country house hotel with spa. Enjoyed first day and food at dinner was good. The spa and staff were great in pleasant grounds of hotel. Accommodation in hotel was very good but the hotel let itself down on second night with exactly the same menu at dinner as the first night with no specials on menu. Anyone on vegetarian...

A lovely hotel in a small hamlet, very friendly and tentative staff in all aspects, special recognition going to James a member of the bar staff. We enjoyed a lovely evening meal in the restaurant which was in with the deal. Our room above the spa was very comfy. The hotel has a gym with pool and nice outdoor spa...

Our room was lovely and comfortable, with a great view. There are lots of things to see and do within a fairly short distance. The spa and...

Stayed with another couple for a DB&B break. Our room was upgraded to a suite which was really good. Reception and the porter were well organised and very helpful. Dinner was good the only minor criticism was that the pudding course was minute, but it was an all in price so it was not a problem. Service was faultless as...

Enjoyed this break immensely! The spa is not huge, but it is well appointed and sooo relaxing. Having been to other spas in the region I can honestly say this is the best. Our break included an overnight stay, lunch, dinner and breakfast- all the food was excellent both in the restaurant and the brasserie. We also had a 90...

We stayed with another couple, and both had a suite. The rooms were lovely, really nicely decorated and bed was very comfy. We used the spa whilst there, it's definitely worth a visit. The service was absolutely fantastic, nothing was a problem and everyone was so friendly and helpful. The only thing that let it down some of the food...
