We stayed in the main house in a large room. There was a function on that night, although the music could not be heard from our room. However, as the function guests returned to their room above us at 2am we found out that there is little in the way of noise insulation between rooms, you could even hear them... More

I booked a one night stay for 22nd october with dinner bed & breakfast for my husband & I for his birthday through virgin experience days. We checked into the hotel and was greeted by a lovely friendly lady. We had the executive suite. The room was lovely. The wine was chilling, along with chocolates and fruit were awaiting us.... I stayed here overnight for a friend's wedding. This is the second time I've stayed here and it was great again. I would definitely recommend the hotel for its friendly staff, beautiful grounds and lovely food.

Visited Bagden Hall for a friends wedding. Lovely wedding venue with lovely grounds. Gorgeous food too & service. We stayed in the lakeside rooms, and I have to say the room was very, very basic for the price we paid - definitely wasn't worth £115 for one night at all. Breakfast was nice though.

Myself and my daughters had afternoon tea here on a Sunday afternoon, believe the teas start at 2pm. The room was quite small with about 6 tables all immaculately set. Thank you for your lovely review . We were serving Afternoon Tea in our Green Lounge on Sunday because our Autumn Wedding Fayre was taking place across most of the Hotel . Usually this would be served in the Glendale Restaurant - but I am pleased to read you liked the intimate atmosphere. I hope to welcome you back again... More

We were made to feel most welcome, staff could not have done more. Rooms spacious .quiet with large comfortable beds. Breakfast was all freshly cooked to order. The only criticism is that the post code on the web site is wrong and we had trouble finding it.

Was given a champagne afternoon tea for two as wedding present. Venue was generally fine, food was 'ok' - scones were 'forgotten' until we asked, then we got two very flat and warm scones as though they had just been warmed up!
