Stayed here one night while climbing but my partner has stayed here many times before, so has his father. Lovely warm room, very clean & super comfy bed. Breakfast was the best thing about the lodge, you don't leave hungry that's for certain. Would defo recommend & would be back again. If I had to nit pick, I would ask...

This was our second visit to climb local mountains (more to come). Perfect location for many Munros including Creag Meagaidh and the Grey Corries plus walking and cycling. Alan and Belinda are very helpful and friendly. Their delicious home-cooked meals are an absolute must and great value. If you prefer to cook the kitchen is well equipped. The facilities are...

A very friendly welcome from the owners who showed us around and cooked a great evening meal for us. This hostel has all the facilities one could expect - including spacious rooms and a lounge with real fire. The hostel is well placed for walking a number of Munros and is perfect for train travel, being the converted station building.

Everything about this stay (and my previous 4 (four) stays at the bunkhouse) is nothing short of unbelievable. On this particular occasion I stayed with 2 other couples and they all agree for a great outdoors break in Scotland it would be hard to beat the Station Lodge Bunkhouse. Alan and Belinda, the owners, could not have been more helpful...

A very welcoming bunkhouse in a great hillwalking area of Scotland. Great to walk off the train and straight into the bunk house on the platform. Ideal as a base for outdoor activities with very effective drying room, hot showers, lounge for socialising and well equipped kitchen for self catering. It's clean, friendly and super value for money.

A cosy bunkhouse with spacious bunks and a living room with a real fire to relax in front of. A great location with many munros in every direction and lots to see and do in the area. And to top it off if you can't be bothered cooking, the owners can prepare breakfast, lunches and dinners

Hi Arlene, Thanks for your comments. It was a shame you were not well when you were here and couldn't do all that you planned. We both enjoyed your company and hope you will return one day to complete the hill that eluded you on this trip.

We've stayed here several times, and always had a warm welcome, especially needed when we've arrived soaking wet after long days outside. The drying room works well, the beds are comfy, the bedrooms are warm, the lounge is cosy and a good place to chat and make new friends, the kitchen has a big cooker and big fridge, the shower...

Thanks for your kind comments. We both hope you are back at Tulloch before too long especially as the owls are calling even louder and the house martins are back which we know you would appreciate.

A very relaxing hostel set in peaceful surroundings of pine forest and mountains, next to the railway. With 3 or 4 trains a day in each direction it means you don't have to use the car. Just off the East Highland Way and is an excellent base for access to the local mountains. I returned late each afternoon to a...

'The Ayrshire Waysters' stayed here after their first 25 miles of the East Highland Way and it's what you expect for £20 per person. Warm building especially the coal fire in the lounge, good showers and a comfy bed. We had booked an evening meal and were served up a very large bowl of moussaka, vegetables and garlic bread followed...
