We booked a 1-night stay at this place only after seeing its website. I selected a "budget apartment" instead of the regular rooms and soon found out the implications of this choice. The 2 twin beds were made up with only a bottom sheet - no top sheet, but with a heavy "woolen" duvay and pillows with the same heavy...

We made the unfortunate booking before checking on trip advisor.Booking.com offers a totally unrealistic review or this 'hotel' - I can only imagine they were submitted by the hotel itself as they do not remotely tally with the reality of this place. I started to feel uneasy as soon as i realised their quickly charged non-refundable deposit of £50 was...

having spent two night's at the stronlossit inn i found it very nice, the room was spotless as was the rest of the hotel, the bathroom was great so large you could hold a dance in it. we found that the food was below par for the price that you pay, my wife has been in the catering trade for...

I was a little aprehensive after a member of our group had booked a stay in the Stronlossit having read the Trip Advisor reviews but we were all pleasantly surprised. We arrived after a 12 hour mini bus journey, including breakdown, from London at around 8pm at night. We were met by the owners who (after a little confusion) sorted...

We had the misfortune of sampling Fawlty Towers at its very worst, only this time the humour was missing. The food arrived, i ordered Venison which was so tough a chainsaw wouldn't have got through it. when i politley complained the monster of a lady that i think own's the place proceeded to pick it up with her finger and...

I can't believe some of the reviews on here. I stayed here on the 9th June. Food was great and I don't think it was too pricey for what you got. I have been in other places where you got less for your money. Staff were very friendly. Very helpful and you could enjoy a bit of a laugh and...

Only spent one night here after a days walking in Fort William, couldn't fault it. We had a Superior room which was spacious and clean, huge bath, great shower, the food was good and the staff very helpful and chatty. Surprised at reviews saying the owners were rude and unwelcoming, we found them to be completely the opposite, and the...

During our stay at Burnroy campsite (which was a very pleasant experience with lovely owners) we went out for a walk with our toddler. We decided to stop in at the stronlossit to have a drink and some food and had only just opened the door to the lounge bar when a hard faced woman roared at us not to...

I booked this room to attend a function in Roy Bridge. I was locked out at night, I found the owners Maurice & Sandra unhelpful and unwelcoming and felt that I was putting them out booking into their hotel. The room was ok but overpriced for what it was. The smoking area is at the front door underneath rooms so...
