Staff there are very, very friendly and welcoming. Hotel room was nice and clean. Food in the restaurant was delicious. Beautiful surroundings, beautiful view from room (river view if you're staying in rooms 40 or later).

You could walk a small section of the west highland way? Cross over the River Orchy via the bridge behind the hotel and follow the sign posts up over the hill. Its a little hilly but once over the top the views are fantastic over Loch Tulla. You can choose how far you want to walk along the route before turning around and then following the path back to the hotel. Hope this helps. Gary
