I booked for two of us to stay here from 20th to 23rd April for my boyfriends surprise birthday weekend. What can I say... this place is stunning. It had everything I wanted from a weekend away, we travelled the 4 hours from London just based on pictures I'd seen, and were not disappointed. I booked a double deluxe room...

The journey down the long drive to Soughton Hall was spectacular and once inside we were not disappointed. What a beautiful place to celebrate our anniversary. We received a warm welcome from the Manager at check in and were escorted to our room by a friendly young man who also ran the bar. WOW what a stunning bedroom it was...

I took Mum for afternoon tea today as a late Mother's Day present. What can I say.... We approached Soughton Hall along the impressive driveway, passing pheasants and rabbits in the grass. The building is gorgeous, full of character, and the upstairs room where we had our tea full of old tapestries, with our table overlooking the gardens and driveway...

My boyfriend booked this as a birthday treat and we were not disappointed in the least. The drive way is impressive surrounded by fields with the hotel looking grande right at the end of it. The grounds are well kept and so is the main building, upon arrival the receptionist was very welcoming and gave us a mini tour. We...

I find this bewildering. I have read all the rave reviews and that simply wasn't our experience. Our overnight stay did not come close to our expectations. The approach to the property is stunning, a beautiful house, full of history and character. Sadly, the land seems to have been sold off, so no woodland walks, just the drive and a...

Got a great deal on booking.com,price was about £80 which included breakfast for us both. Prior to arriving we obviously looked at reviews and pictures online,and...

I have to say that Soughton Hall was an absolute delight from the moment I arrived. Beautiful period building with roaring log fires was a very welcoming destination on a rather dreich February afternoon. Very comfortable room with 4 poster bed, ensuite was fabulous and I even had time to enjoy a soak in the very deep bath. Dinner was...
