My wife and me had a lovely welcome from Carl at the Guildhall Tavern and made us feel welcome the time that we stayed there. The breakfast was very nice and plentiful - the evening meals were very good too - especially as we could not find a place open on a Monday and Tuesday evening to eat. Thankfully Carl...

This is and old quirky building in the heart of Denbigh. The room we were in was of a reasonable size and the view from the window looked straight down the hill onto the hills beyond. The bed was quite soft but large and comfortable. The shower worked well and there were tea and coffee making facilities within the room....

Stayed here for 2 days just before the Easter break. Room was spacious and well set out. Small hiccup regarding bulbs out but we mentioned this and they were replaced immediately. I agree with other reviews in that the pillows are flat and more are needed. Also the bathroom could have been cleaner with a bit of grime around the...

Had a great break here. Really charming place. Yes the floors are uneven! It's a very old building. But it was very clean. I clean for a living and I could not fault it. Not a cobweb or dust anywhere. The service was really good. Julie who greeted us, served drinks, brought our fantastic breskfast was so hard working we...

I stayed here with my husband and dog in March 2017. It's a lovely hotel dating back to the 17th century and has many quirky features which add to its atmosphere. The room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was included and I had a full Welsh which was very filling and we also ate in the bar on an...

We made a last minute booking to stay at the tavern and we were not disappointed. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The room we stayed in was very spacious and well appointed. We had one of the best steak dinners we have had in a long time, beautifully cooked and presented. The Welsh breakfast was superb.

Staff were very friendly, lovely breakfast & evening meals, good portions & piping hot. We stayed in Clwydian room, really comfy bed, nice size room with ensuite bathroom. Best voucher deal we've done so far just think they should charge more as it was faultless. Llyn Brenig and visitor centre is worth a visit, lovely cakes to choose from and...

Third night on our bike tour with our pup. Julie immediately secured our bikes & trailer at check in, before showing us to our room. Really large room, fantastic shower & toiletries, sloping floor (really old building, great character). We ate in the bar & enjoyed Facers ale. Breakfast in the bar with the pup (again, thanks to accommodating Julie,...
