Myself and my partner stayed at this lovely hotel for a weekend. We had a very warm welcome from the friendly staff, our room was clean and comfy and we had a superb meal in the restaurant followed by drinks. I would highly recommend this hotel for a weekend away! Sadly we didn’t get time for relaxing in the Spa, but we was shown round before our departure. We will return again next year and take full advantage of all the facilities!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Price was exceptional and then after reading reviews was concerned but everything was fine Lovely room with decent bathroom both spotlessly clean. Yes it’s a bit dated but so what, clean bed is my main criteria not the age of the decor. Staff were lovely and polite and we had a very enjoyable breakfast

The hotel is dated and the room do not have aircon, I felt like I was in a steam room, and it was not cleaned properly there was peanuts under the bed and the room was not dusted and the toilet does not flush 🤢 I book a table for dinner time and for my suprise that the restaurant floor was disgusting all dirty and dead flies a around 😳, food was a disgrace the starter of cured meats the parma ham was slimy and the tomato was all squish and tasted awful, I told the waiter's and nothing was done, then I order a burger for my mains and the chips tasted like they been fried in fish oil the burger was awful, to add the all of this the table service was very very poor my rose wine was serve in room temperature, and no glasses on my table and I has the one to ask for glasses because unfortunately the girls where lacking of training. In overall, from reception to room and restaurant it was simply disgusting I WILL NEVER STAY IN THIS HOTEL ANYMORE, I never expected it to be like this and specially during Covid time where everything supposed to be 100% clean and tidy, I didn't felt safe AT ALL. On the day of the check out it was a cleaning lady that done mt check out because we waited more than 10m and nobody show up.

We stayed at the hotel for a VIP experience in July. The spa was nice if a bit noisy. Dinner and breakfast were good but the hotel needs a bit of love. The staff were charming and hard working. In fact, one of them did 4 jobs. Our room was Spotless but the water in the bathroom was extremely hot, so take care. It was a bonus to have a pet chicken in the garden.

Admittedly, when we arrived we were apprehensive as the exterior looked like it needed some TLC. However, our minds were quickly changed once we entered: all staff were friendly and helpful throughout, the room was clean and spacious with a nice view, noise issues were addressed by reception, the spa facilities were excellent as were the gym. My partner and I used the spa facilities and booked a Rasul treatment which was relaxing and well-thought out. The food, both breakfast and dinner, was reasonably priced, well cooked, good portion sizes. Service throughout was very quick and done with a smile. Overall, if you're looking for a quiet escape, whether young or old, with no disturbances and nice views and a good feel, this is the place to stay.
