Initially I booked for two days for a bed to sleep in as I had night shifts in the nearby hospital, which I was told would cost me £20 more instead of the regular £39 per night that they asked. Then the shifts got changed and more than 48 hours beforehand I emailed them to ask whether I could book...

Someone had gone out of their way to welcome us with a lovely pack of goodies in arrival. The cottage was easy to find and conveniently located between Leeds and Halifax. The beds were pretty comfortable, even if a bit soft. The cottage was well heated, if not a little too hot with the heating coming on during the night....

Stayed overnight at the Healey Hotel. This had been a very grand home at one time and sympathetically converted. Little disappointed with room which was described as executive room, but very clean and comfortable for our one night stay. We didn't have dinner as we were going out for dinner, however, our full English breakfast was first class, and what...

On appearance lovely looking place, friendly staff on reception but I'm afraid as for the room we had, well went a little down hill! Very cold and as temperature outside was around 2 degrees, not fun to be honest. The room had a damp smell but with a few squirts of some expensive aftershave and perfume it was masked! A...

My wife and I stayed at the Healey Hotel, on the night of 20th October. This ex mill owners home is set in a quiet almost secluded location, offering ample car parking space. The hotel is warm and comfortable, especially the bedroom. We took up their meals offer which consists of a two course evening meal, with your choice of...

Just spent 1 night at the Healey Hotel 22nd October 2016. Warm friendly staff, modern clean rooms with Jacuzzi batch. Had evening meal there - home made and fantastic quality. Was going to go out for a meal but glad we didn't - try the food. Full English Breakfast was included and was excellent local produce. I would stay again....

I have only put a 1 star rating, as I'm unable to give zero. This is the worst place I have ever stayed at. Stayed here just for 1 night, but even that seemed too long to suffer. Pictures which you see online are not the true representation of the state of this hotel. Our room was very small, with...
