What a fantastic stay at The Lugger Hotel. Our room was small but perfect with a very large comfy bed. The bonus was the deliciously scented Orla Kiely toiletries and the hot chocolate left in the room when the bed was turned down at night....More
Not because of the noisy room with stained carpet and curtains that lets lights in, but because it wasn't friendly, I wasn't once asked how was my stay or got helped in finding things to do, and the friendly atmosphere is essential to me, the...More
Fantastic Boutique Hotel. Set right on the Sea in a quaint Village. Offers cosy rooms, most with stunning views. A more upmarket restaurant, which serves extremely good food. Perfect for a weekend or longer. Great walking immediately from Hotel, very friendly, exceptional service.
We had room 201 which must be the best in the hotel as it overlooks the tiny harbour at the front and then at the back it has its own private terrace so you can get the view from both directions. There is fresh milk...More
Having just spent 3 days and nights at the Lugger I can fully recommend this whether you are there for a romantic getaway. An active family holiday (Families that love water sport, fishing and walking. Not suited to children who rely on internet for entertainment)....More

Hi. We stayed in room 101, which is on the ground floor at the 'sea' end of the boathouse. Room was spot on (recently redecorated) and a good size. It had a window and patio door overlooking harbour & sea, which came up to the building at high tide. There was a patio area outside, which we did not use as we were there in February, but should be very nice with the right weather. The view is good apart from some kind of concrete structure directly in front of the building. I did include a couple of pictures with my review.
