Spent two nights at the hotel last week having first visited three years previously. We ate in the bar both evenings and the food was excellent. The menu was varied and the desserts were to die for! Alan, the Head Chef, even provided us with sandwiches for our journey home. In the morning Yvonne served us with a great cooked...

Dropped in here for a light lunch and we were impressed by the food and standard of service and price. I had pate and oatcakes and mum had a chicken sandwich made with proper chicken, not cheap stuff you get in a supermarket sandwich and the bread was homemade too. We had a look at the evening menu, it had...

Stayed here at this hotel a couple of weeks ago and I was attending a get together with friends in the Village. It is a beautiful hotel tucked away in a lovely village! The rooms were comfortable, warm and clean with all the facilities you would expect. The staff were nice and friendly. We also ate in the restaurant that...

We popped in for a meal on Saturday night as we hadnt been in a good number of years, due to the way we were treated prior because we had dropped in while out on our motorbikes, they couldnt get us out the place quick enough. Obviously, didnt realise the clothes we were sitting in ran into the thousands of...

Ate here a couple of times recently and the food is top notch. Used to eat here quite a lot and for some reason we tried out a few new places but we are so happy that we have returned. Some great offers and the food is very good and staff are very good and very helpful too.

Lovely surroundings in a peaceful village in East Renfrewshire. My starter of Cullen Skink was superb and very filling. In fact it filled me up I struggled with the main course of chicken and leek pie. My partner Renee had a huge piece of pate which again was so filling she struggled with her chicken and ham salad. However she...

I admit that the day when we arrived at Uplawmoor was dreary. It had rained cats and dogs all day and we were thoroughly wet, having cycled up from Troon. All the more, we felt that we deserved a nice, warm, cosy hotel room. Well, it wasn’t to be as the rooms of Uplawmoor are something out of the past....
