Family of 11, including a baby accommodated easily. Children were served first which was helpful and the dog was made a great fuss of. Great, hearty food which was really tasty. Beautifully situated and easily found. We were made very welcome.

Dropped in on the off chance we would get a table but weren't hopeful seeing it was Mothers Day. Surprisingly although fully booked we were given a table and the dog was made very welcome too. The food was absolutely delicious, the children's menu was very good with big portions and £7.95 for 3 courses was great and very much...

Just back from a week walking the Cateran Trail using the Glenisla Hotel as a base. I'll keep this nice and short! Accommodation - Very comfortable and good sized room with en-suite facilites making for a very enjoyable stay. The view wasn't bad either! They only have six rooms though, so booking in advance is recommended. Food - Nothing short...

We booked a last minute trip to glenshee ski centre and decided to stay here. It was amazing. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and the hotel was lovely inside. I could not fault the room, it had everything you needed and also fast wifi. The bar downstairs had a great atmosphere and a lot of character with...

We turned up without warning to be told their restaurant was fully booked. As we were about the leave the owner appeared and offered us another room with a reduced menu as they were catering for two large parties. The service and food we ordered was excellent. It is almost 30 years since we last visited this hotel where pub...

Very much a country pub. Don't expect the Ritz but you will get a warm welcome, good crack, comfortable stay and good wholesome food. Bar is well stocked and prices very reasonable, in fact whole place is good value. Dog friendly too. Highly recomended

Lovely wee hotel in attractive rural setting. Great dinner, couthy bar/restaurant, very comfortable stylish rooms and friendly staff/proprietor - What more do you want? Perfect for a short break away from the rat race. We'll be back.

We celebrated my sister's 40th birthday meal here. We were in the dining room away from the main bar as we had two children under the age of 10 months with us and didn't want to disturb their evening out! Fortunately both kids were great but we could relax in comfort. The specials board was very nice, I had a...
