Had an excellent stay at the hall from the dawn chorus of sheep and rooks to dinner washed down with Leffe. The staff were very friendly and professional and looked after us really well. We even had a midnight visit from a bat flying around the room!

An absolutely stunning venue, the hall dates back to 1535 and had lots of character. A very peaceful setting surrounded by fields and beautiful gardens. The menu for both the evening meal and breakfast were varied and would cater for all needs. I was particularly impressed with the desserts menu, having a sweet tooth!! All the staff were very friendly,...

We stayed here for four nights as a base for driving round Wales (Elan Valley etc). Had a lovely welcome. Staff were all very well presented, very friendly, attentive and efficient. Room 20, our room, was a touch small, but we were on a discount deal, so can't complain. Beautifully decorated and furnished, although there was a lack of hanging...

Nice hotel good location staff friendly however food was very disappointing. This was our second visit first occasion was excellent this time the food was not. Perhaps there is a new chef? We are visiting the area again later in the year but would reconsider staying here again.

My partners nan recently had her birthday meal here. We were a large table of about 15/18 with four kids included also. We were in a separate room with large table which was lovely and private, with a door to the outside so the kids went out to play whilst waiting for food. Bar was next to the room and...

Just had lunch with friends, absolutely fabulous. The staff were friendly and helpful. The access for a wheelchair through the french doors was not too bad but could have been better. There were plenty of helpers on hand. Once inside, it was beautiful. The food was scrumptious. Disabled facilities were excellent. I will certainly be returning to this beautiful setting.

We stayed for 2 nights in March. The staff were very helpful, the food was very good. The room was quite small but we knew that it would not be very big when we booked. The room was clean and tidy. The beds were very narrow! I had expected a smallish room but not narrow beds and the sheets only...

I've recently spent 4 nights at this chilled, relaxed small hotel. It really is a hidden gem. The surrounding gardens are well kept, as have a therapeutic atmosphere. It's a small efficiently run hotel. Nice if you want to get away from it all. Each evening meal I had was faultless, staff very friendly and really make you feel at...
