We stayed in the Sun Set suite as the last leg of an amazing Greek Island hopping holiday with my husband and 16 year old step son. We stayed 3 nights, the final nigh being my Birthday, it was just so magical. The Sun Set Suite has a pool which is fabulous, it offers amazing views and is comfortable. Alongside the very good breakfast we also took the opportunity to have dinner delivered to our suite one night which was amazing. The location of the suites is far removed from the very busy tourist area of Oia, perfect really. We also booked a sun set boat trip via the hotel, this was amazing and probably the highlight of the whole holiday, highly recommend this. If we visit Santorini again I feel sure we'd go back to the Voreina Gallery Suites.
Our 3rd time to voreina as good this time as the 1st Amazing views Great Breakfasts Away from the main tourist parts of Thira and Oia We walked from Pyrgos to Oia then caught the bus back....absolutely stunning views on the way Roughly 11 miles ...3 and half hours
We stayed here with our three year old son for 7 nights. On arrival we had been upgraded to the superior suite, Sunset. The rooms were impressive, with a beautiful panoramic view of the island. The roll top bath made perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine during sunset. The staff were so attentive and accommodating to each member of my family. They left robes for us all and replaced my son's chocolate stained robe, without any request. They replaced our towels after we had been to the beach, again without us even asking. The ladies at reception were so knowledgeable of the island, I really recommend that you ask them for ideas, as they offer advice freely and honestly. We rented a car for one day, €42 including insurance. A taxi to Oìa was €35 one way and so this was definitely the most economic way for us to travel. Take a walk up through the back of the villa, via the steps, follow the signs to Franco's cafe for amazing cocktails at sunset, in a beautifully, romantic setting. Or, visit the gift shops and traditional restaurants. Turn right out of the villa, a quieter road to the centre we found and you have full view of the Santorini airport runway to watch planes galore. You will also spot the helipad en route. Lidl is a 6 minute drive from Voreina, which we used to stock up on essentials, there are some very basic mini markets in Pyrgos, but I doubt you will need much other than water, as breakfast kept us going until Dinner. Breakfast is superb, plentiful and served to your room at a time to suit. I highly recommend these beautiful suites. We will definitely be back. Be prepared for hellish departures on the way home, but hey, that does not take anything away from this stunning accommodation on a beautiful island.…
One year ago (late September), we stayed here. It was great. The location is good. Nice village behind. Easy to get to the rest of Santorini. No crowds. The private pool is wonderful. The room is beautiful. The staff are fantastic. They went out of their way to help us when strong winds cancelled ferries. If you get the chance to stay here, grab it.
After exploring Greece by sailboat, we wanted some quiet in Santorini, quiet, no way, but we did find a gem at the Voreina Gallery Suites. We had very good emails prior to leaving for Greece with the staff of this boutique hotel. Helpful to answer all our questions. We were greeted on arrival at the airport by a complimentary lift to the hotel. The driver, Chris, and every job in between, took very good care of us while staying at the suites. Our surprise breakfast was promptly delivered each morning to our terrace, always delicious and plenty. The room had plenty of privacy, space and a huge shower located in the cave. We were told by Cleopatra, one of the receptionists, that there is the oldest city, mostly abandoned, behind the suites with an invigorating hike upward between small alleys and courtyards. At the top was the oldest village on Pyrgos such a nice surprise was Franko’s Café where we enjoyed our evening sundowners. The café made me a White Russian and each evening it only got better! 😊 Fond memories of all of Santorini, Fira a busy town with awesome views, Oia, busy with thousands of tourists, but to come back to the quiet of Pygros and Voreina Suites was the ahhhhhhhh…..in our holiday! Highly recommend them and the position to relax and immerse yourselves! If you have time, visit Kamari, an uncrowded beach location with great restaurants and cafes and shops. We will be back!!!!…
"Stage Suite, which was the second-lowest suite. The higher the better in terms of privacy."Read full review
