This lovely hotel is situated in Pyrgos, a picturesque traditional village at the centre of the island, close to all beaches and very quiet compared to the town of Fira. The hotel is excellent with nice and clean room, very helpful staff and a nice view to all the island. The courtyard is ideal for your breakfast. Prices are reasonable.

The place is overall very nice : gorgeous big house in a nice little town, spacious rooms with all the comfort you need and a high level of privacy (compare to all the places we've seen here, this is a very distinctive quality !), nice and helpful hosts (who also cook a fairly good breakfast), all that for a fair...

It was two years ago that we first visited Donna's house and it was still just as charming and what a lovely welcome we received from Mario and his sister; they are such lovely hosts. Santorini has much to offer and Pyrgos is the perfect place for a relaxing break.

Our week stay at Donna’s House (more “villa” than “house”) in this peaceful, charming, traditional hillside village provided my husband & I with so many wonderful memories...strolling the cobbled walkways of this pedestrian village; sunset views over the sea from the Kasteli; Sunday morning sitting on our balcony listening to church bells and chanting; generous, delicious breakfasts in the garden courtyard; good tavernas/restaurants a...

Loved this place! The cosy and clean accommodation, the quaint Pyrgos village and our wonderful, amazing host Mario. The B&B is great value for money compared the the prices of the surrounding hotels/B&Bs. The rooms are spacious and the garden terrace for breakfast is full of beautiful flowers. The breakfast themselves were delicious, varied and generous! The only thing I...

The tallest point on the island offers amazing views, the MOST delicious restaurant steps from Donna's House, and castle ruins and a gorgeous hotel on top of the hills. Mario owns Donna's with his sister, but he runs the place marvelously. Giant breakfast, colorful rooms, 2 wonderful outdoor cafes down the road. Black beaches a taxi ride away. We LOVED...

Great and affordable place to stay away from the crowds and tourists. We arrived after midnight because our ferry was late, and Mario stayed up and waited for us until we got there. Thanks Mario! Beds are a little hard but still comfortable. Rooms are clean and the air conditioner works well. Only Con is that the shower is very...

We booked the family room for a family of 4 and got a great rate (120 Euro/night). My wife was a bit concerned that we weren't staying on the beach or in a hotel with a caldera view. We were SO pleasantly surprised by the town of Pyrgos and this wonderful hotel. After visiting Fira, Oia, and driving by just...

Stayed there 3 nights. Mario was great. Perfect location for walking the whole village. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were very clean. Breakfasts were very good. We can recommend with no reservations. If we were going again, we would stay here again.

After staying in Fira, Donna's House and Pyrgos were truly a refreshing change--unique and highly characteristic inn and much quieter town. Mario and his sister run Donna's House and it's beautifully maintained with a lovely court yard for sitting and eating. The structure is gorgeous with lots of marble including floor to ceiling marble bathroom. For an additional 5 euro,...
