We had 2 nights here last week and thought it was lovely. Although the room was small it was well maintained and very comfortable. The lounge and dining room were very attractive and the breakfasts were great, with loads of choice and all freshly prepared. We would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the area, which is...

Perfect location and one the best breakfast I've ever had in a b & b. The owners are really nice and helpful. Perfect location for walking and exploring the lakes. Unfortunately our room was really dated ( but extremely clean ). The dresser mirror was so low I had to kneel on the floor to use it ! If it...

My wife and I stayed here last week and it was everything we could have hoped for. Kind hosts, beautiful weather and long walks followed by visits to the pub. The pub next door is good for food, would advise booking though as it gets busy. Breakfast was excellent too, would gladly stay again.

Our second visit to Buckle Yeat and still as good as before. Wonderful b&b full of character and charm with great hosts and wonderful breakfasts! Rooms are very comfy and clean with great views from the front bedroom (we had a room at the back last time we stayed). Breakfasts are fantastic with plenty of choice and excellent service. The b&b is really well. Well kept rooms, good bathrooms, very good breakfast. The hosts are very friendly & great at running a b&b. Next door to the b&b is a pub that is good for food. Go early for food. meaning 8pm can be too late. There is another pub, called cuckoo brow, that does food about 15 min...

A pleasant, clean B&B in peaceful surroundings. The location is great, set away from the crowds but not far from major hotspots. The onsite parking was helpful and we had good wifi signal in our room. The bathroom was not only spotless but sparkled. As an added bonus there is a lovely pub next door. Would happily stay here againl.

Wow! what a welcome. My hosts could not have been more helpful, booked by my company, they even tried to collect me from my coach parked in Hawkshead (taxi beat him to me). And although, out before breakfast was being served, was shown how to help myself. Room very comfy and would definitely use again and recommend to others. Many...

The Buckle Yeat provides very good country cottage accommodation. The lounge and dining room are full of charm and character with an open fire in the lounge. The size of the bedrooms and ensuite are what you would expect in a cottage. They are comfortable, well presented and provide for all your needs. The breakfasts offer a range of options...

This was our first visit to the Lake District and has set the bar very high. The building is a lovely cottage with beams and a fantastic open fire in the lounge. The lounge is for residents and we had it to ourselves. The bedroom/en-suite was clean and cosy(room 4 has a bath/ shower). However it was the service and...
