We stayed here only one night while touring Nova Scotia. Our room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. Both our dinner and breakfast in the dining room delicious. Would have liked to stay longer but our travel plans did not allow time for this, unfortunately.

We were impressed with the facilities and the close attention to our needs by the owners and staff. Jean Pierre, owner and chef, operates a gourmet dining room. The Inn's location, close to the canal and within walking distance to the village of St. Peter's is also convenient. The best accomodations and restaurant within miles. Ted F.

Our small group enjoyed a 24-hour retreat here in the off-season. We appreciated their flexibility and their attention to the needs of a group on retreat. They did all they could to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable--and it was. Wonderful meals were prepared for us--breakfast buffet, light sandwich lunch and two scrumptious dinners during our stay. Rooms and beds...

My overnight stay was off-season and my experience might not be be the same as someone who stays in the summer. The staff was very helpful, the bed was comfortable and the room pleasant. And the meals were special-delicious. I am recommending the Bras d'Or Lakes Inn!

My husband and I stayed at this inn in early October on a month's tour of Nova Scotia. We had booked online, and upon arrival we were given room #24. The room was well appointed with comfortable beds and the usual amenities, clean with a full bathroom. We went out in the evening and then watched some TV. However, once...

Thank you for taking the time to report this event. It is true that room 24 does have a humming sound from the freezers. Although it doesn't bother most people it can keep others awake. This room has a nice view of the canal. During winter we are working on having this situation fixed. I was happy to hear that...
