Seven Oaks is a great experience. The rooms are spacious, squeaky clean, and quiet. The view is great. But the best part is the friendly staff and hostess. The building is an older one lovingly restored. Change Islands are representative of a true outport with picturesque stages and stores. Be sure to see Peter's museum and visit the visitor's center....

Our family of 6 stayed at the Seven Oakes Inn for two nights. The kids were uncomfortable staying at a Bed and Breakfast .... Until they met Beulah! What a wonderful experience we had. Beulah made us feel we were visiting Grandma's house. Strong, warm and loving woman! She has created a beautiful escape with lovely rooms and the best...

A wonderful other world best describes Seven Oakes, Beulah (a story unto herself) and her wonderful helpers ensured that our stay would be a memorable one. It honestly felt like going to visit much loved family members, family members who could really really cook. If anyone left hungry it was their own fault. Sitting around the tables with strangers, sharing...

Very friendly lady. The house has lots of charm and was very clean. Make sure to ask the prices before your stay. We were very surprised by the price, it was much higher than any other Place we stayed. We didn't feel it was worth the price. The water was a yellow/brown colour and had a very foul smell which...

We arrived late because the ferry was behind schedule. Six of us landed on the Seven Oakes doorstep, after the supper meal had started for other guests, at this lovely B & B inn. "No problem", Beulah said. "Kick off your shoes, come right in, get yourself settled in your room and join us for supper of fresh caught cod...

The host of Seven Oakes is a wonderful force in the world. Hardworking, informative, friendly with an interest in each guest. She facilitates connection between guests, so that you are suddenly a part of a community of strangers becoming friends.

We visited here in June with my sister and her husband. Beulah made the whole experience one of our most treasured moments in the wonderful province of Newfoundland. Beulah is a wonderful caring person whose warm laughter brought smiles to our faces time after time. The Newfoundland sayings sent me off in gales of laughter and Beulah laughed with me....

Change Islands is a small community accessible only by ferry from Farewell /Fogo Island. There's only 1 restaurant which was not open when we were there. We arrived on a blustery and rainy day in June for a 2-day stay at the Seven Oakes. We were met by Trudi who showed us to a charming, clean, and comfortable room on...

What a terrific spot and it's greatly thanks to the fabulous Beulah Oake who owns and operates this lovely spot. The rooms are charming in an old fashioned B&B style. This is not luxury accommodations, it's old-time homey, friendly, welcoming and clean. It's also the only place to eat and she cooks a lovely breakfast and dinner. You won't go...

We stayed in one of the little cabins. They were very clean, only thing you have to be out of cabin a few hours before boat arrives. Wifi and cell service very poor in cabins, certainly needs upgrading. We paid $160 a night which was the most expensive out of 6 cabins we rented during our vacation, A bit expensive...
