The guys who own this place are mean and disgusting. They were party guys for a long time in Brazil and then decided to purchase their own hostel. The location is great. Everything else is bad. The rooms are smelly and filthy, the computers don't work, and they will keep every dollar that they can. These guys are just bad...

We stayed here in a private room at the start of January. When we booked it said that there was a shared bathroom, however, we were pleased to notice when we checked in that we would only be sharing the bathroom with another room. We also had a kitchen area that we only shared with that other room, which was...

I can't stress this enough this place is terrible.. The pictures lie, the rooms smells and if you want to leave they will keep your money.. Its supposed to be a "party hostle" but unless your from Israel you will feel pretty lonely.. The only music they play in the bar is from Israel so you will have to get...

I went here in December 2012 by coincidence. The welcome was really warm and the sunning view from the top terrace was amazing. Juliano at the bar was one of the greatest persons I ever met. The rooms are like a youth hostel style when you choose more than 4 beds per room. The toilets and shower were really no...

Had booked a room at this hostel for 5 nights but left after 1. The hostel was full, but cleanliness was far from good. The bathrooms were dirty and smelly, and not maintained well. The bathroom door lock was spoilt and the room had a strange smell to it. It advertises free breakfast which is pretty much a couple of...

The hostel was good, I found a lot of people to talk and socialize. It's near both of the beaches of barra and the room I had was quite comfortable (I got the one that has a porch). They served free breakfast and a free Ciapirinha every afternoon. It has a pool in the roof with a beautiful sight of...

We were here during carnival, so it was a busy spot - so the bar was happening and it was quite fun. The staff are okay - kind of weirdish - but a couple of them were super nice and helpful, where as some were blah. The service was okay - although from travelling so much we asked to use...

Stayed here for a few nights on our way down the coast. Staff were nice enough but not very useful (asked for lighter so I could light the cooker in the kitchen and no one had one, asked the staff how I was supposed to use it and got 3 shrugs) location is good but you can get private apartments...

"Yar" There be a room so small it might as well be a cupboard, a coffin or A CELL. It's room number 14a (twin room with shared bathroom) The room is such a joke that the last bloke who stayed there from England kicked off at the night porter staff worker and then went too town on the place. Before...
