This charming traditional inn/pension and onsen is certainly the place to go for an authentic outside onsen and Japanese pension experience. The family owners are lovely and speak reasonably good English. Both breakfast and dinner is provided and there is no choice, but there is enough food on the table to find something to suit even picky eaters. The food...

Traditional Japanese inn with great hospitality. Only have 4 rooms. Onsen are gender separate. We were here during summer but it was cold (15°C) so the outdoor Onsen was great (no running tap or shower head, bath with Onsen water). Rooms were big with mattress on tatami. This is a fantastic minshuku in a very nice setting. The accommodation is basic with all shared facilities but very clean, and baths here, both indoor and outdoor, are fantastic. They seem to have unlimited supply of spring water and unlike a lot of hot spring places, they don't circulate the bath water, and the water is very clean. The...
