Stayed just for one night as we were passing through. Lovely little country pub. Room 3 was great-very big and a huge bathroom. Dinner was faultless and the steak burger amazing. Breakfast again faultless and beautiful. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Great find!

Stayed one night with friends, occupying three bedrooms out of four and were extremely pleased with the service, (friendly) food, (excellent variety and well cooked/presented) and accommodation (newly refurbished I would guess) -rooms were all of a good size and very well maintained. Very friendly and with excellent beers and wines available, a truly enjoyable one night break with dinner...

Stayed here for 2 nights as a base for Silverstone (about 40 mins drive). What an excellent find. The service was outstanding and I felt that nothing would be too much trouble. Room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. It even had the must have of a plug socket by the bed which is essential these days for overnight charging...

We visited for a quick snack on 20 th June 2016. Started with olives and bread with balsamic vinegar and oil followed by burgers,a good choice. We will certainly return with friends for a steak and wine offer. A nice surprise to find a real pub with a nice atmosphere.

Booked for a family lunch (9 adults & 2 children). The food and service was excellent. Fresh local ingredients and a menu with plenty of choice. A special request for a GF meal for one member of our party was no problem at all. A childrens menu is available. Good value and i have yet to find a better restaurant...

I have stayed at the Horse and Groom a great many times and have never found anything wrong..... ever!! (and I'm normally quite fussy, and difficult to please). The rooms are clean, comfortable and well equipped. The food is excellent. The breakfast is first class and the the staff are extremely hospitable and friendly.

Food here has always been very good but on this occasion did not quite meet their usual standard. Believing this to be a one off, I would still rate the restaurant quite highly and recommend it to others. Staff are friendly and helpful and the whole atmosphere is very inviting and enjoyable.
