My wife and I meet some friends here. We stayed the night and found The Inn most pleasant. The bedrooms are very comfortable and modern. Dinner in the evening was excellent with some very imaginative well cooked items on the menu.

Excellent late lunch at this lovely building. The food choice and quality was super and whilst we didn't see any of the rooms this would be a great spot for a quiet week end away. We had the beef main course which was outstanding.

We have reviewed this Inn last year when we recce'd it for this event. On this occasion we spent two nights in one of their excellent rooms, the beds are extremely comfortable, and one of the nice touches is that they will provide a flask of fresh milk to make coffee/tea with so non of that horrible uht muck. Another...

Would highly recommend, very welcoming staff who couldn't of done more if they tried. Amazing food, Duck breast main was great and the liver parfeit starter was the best I've had. A lovely warm and very nice atmosphere. Room was also a really good size with a great shower and really comfy bed. Will definitely be coming back.

My husband and I stayed here last night on a brilliant Valentines deal of D,B&B and a bottle of champagne. Everything was excellent- food, service, rooms, breakfast. All in all I couldn't recommend it enough! A real treat and I know you don't need it to be just Valentines as we have eaten here a few times and the food...

I received a very warm welcome on a freezing evening. Spacious bar and lovely dinner and my lively grandsons, 3 and 5, were really welcomed as well. Nothing was too much trouble in the excellent service. Lovely bedroom and very comfy bed so I had a great night's sleep followed by an excellent individually cooked breakfast. I would recommend this...

Found this gem on secret escapes. Great room, high spec fixtures with added extras like coffee machine. Fresh milk in a flask rather than horrid uht capsules. Three course dinner included which was excellent. Would certainly recommend, fantastic value for money.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Talbot Inn is an iconic 19th century building located in the stunning Teme valley. Sympathetically restored by its current owners, the building encapsulates an eclectic mix of tradition and rustic charm to provide a very comfortable but informal interior. The seven bedrooms are all designed with individual pieces of furniture and soft furnishings along with stone en suite bathrooms fitted with high quality over head showers (some baths as well). Our food is modern British in style and very much favours the abundance of superb fresh produce available in our local farming area. ... more   less
