The place smells damp, it's an old house ( I like modern) it feels like you are staying in someone's house( my idea of hell) . There were clothes in the wardrobe and personal photo albums in the room. The bed sheets smelt stale and you have to sit around one big table together for breakfast. It was difficult to...

Obviously we are very disappointed with your comments. You are right, it is a very old house (1360) at the back, and clearly if you like modern, and hotels, I would recommend that you only use hotels in future. B and Bs are always going to be private homes, so I'm delighted that you say it's homely. There were 2...

We stayed here for our son's wedding and couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. We arrived on the morning of the wedding and Melanie greeted us, showed us around and chatted away about our day ahead. We then had time to get ready and go off to the wedding happy that we could return whenever it suited us....

We stayed here for a long weekend as a friend of ours was getting married in the area, after a 4 hour drive down from Manchester we were greeted by Melanie, who couldn't be more welcoming, asking about our journey down and just generally getting to know us. She then took us through to our room and what we got...

I stayed here last weekend as I had a wedding in the next village and wanted to stay somewhere nicer than the Premier Inn. Home Farm House was perfect. Melanie was very helpful, and made sure I had everything I needed. I stayed in what was their sons room which was very clean, with a comfortable bed, tea and biccies,...

Some friends and I booked two double rooms at this beautiful farmhouse B&B. The owners were splendid and very accommodating. They allowed us to drop our bags early and get changed for the wedding we were attending that afternoon. The rooms were comfortable, clean, ensuite rooms with plenty of character. In the morning a breakfast/feast was available - fruit, cereals,...

We got married that night then came back to the hotel who were gratious enough to give us a key and let us come in late at night. It was such a lovely clean room. Then the next morning we came down and had an amazing breakfast! The best I had ever had to be honest and a lovely selection...

Melanie and Peter made me feel very welcome, and the atmosphere was homely and relaxed. The room was comfortable. I was a little confused with the light in the shower-room which operated on a movement sensor - I spent a little while looking for a switch! Perhaps a small sign would have been useful. Breakfast was good with a large...

Many thanks for your feedback which is much appreciated. A great suggestion with regards to a sign about the light outside the shower room. We will make sure this is put in place.
