The camp is run by Jehan & his wife Katie, who we did not meet as she was away. It is an amazing place with an exceptional staff. The accommodation is very comfortable & the food & hospitality excellent. This was a dream come true for my wife & I. Our driver naturalist was Sonsingh & first day on safari...

This camp is a very special place to stay. Run by Katie and Jehan who truly care about their staff and their environment. It was like being welcomed into their family home and being given a warm hug. Lovely tented camp – huge beds, lovely bathroom/dressing room and the whole camp carefully laid out to give privacy on the deck...

We have traveled widely across India and stayed in many places, but Shergarh is an exception! What makes it so different? 1) There are just six tented accommodations spread around the property. That provides lots of privacy and exclusiveness. 2) Each tent is beautifully furnished, with attention to even the smallest details 3) It is the quiet attention to details...

We stayed for three nights in January 2017. Lovely place! I can only repeat what previous reviewers have said, namely the food was great, the beds and tents were very comfortable, the naturalist was very good - it was all brilliant. We were lucky enough to have a tiger sighting which was a real highlight but, even without that, the...

Shergarh itself has all the comfort of 'glamping' without losing any of the nature. The tents give privacy and beautiful views of the pond. The common house is a great place to meet fellow travelers from around the world, and share truly delicious meals. Jehan, Katie and their children think of everything to welcome guests and make them feel at...

Shergarh is extraordinary: a beautiful lodge, meticulously cared for by a kind and gracious staff, providing expert naturalist guides, and located right next to one of India's premier parks, Kanha Tiger Reserve. I have visited ecolodges on five continents, and Shergarh is truly one of the finest.

We were in december 2016 staying for 4 nights at Shergarh at the end of our tour in India. We loved everything there: the staying, the food, the fireplace, the outdoor lunches, the silence of the place, our tent, the good guide. We had some nice safaris, including the ones outside Kanha National Park. We were lucky to see a...

One word that came to mind as we followed the narrow track through the prairie like grass, over the bamboo bridge towards the clearing with a cozy, what can only be described as rustic chic, cottage in the middle of it - magical! We were soon introduced to the lovely Katie and her daughter Ella and their two dogs Mowly...

Shergarh is just superb. Jehan was a caring and considerate host. Katie was very good on the upfront logistics. Raj and Son, the two guides are both fantastic. The main house and the tents are tastefully done, and the fireplace and evening campfire is a superb touch after a day out on Safari. Each one of the staff members is...

LOVED this place. A real tented camp experience with all the luxury you need. Only 6 tens so there are a very limited number of guests staying at any given time. Comfy beds and baths, peaceful and private patios overlooking a small lake. The common room has a lovely fireplace surrounded by couches/chairs for evening snacks, drinks and for chatting...
