We have two teenage son's and debated where to stay in Hakuba but very glad we selected Echoland and Echo Hotel. It is perfectly located, with a wonderful array of restaurants and onsens on offer. Our room had a King Bed (very comfortable) and a set of bunks for the boys. Storage was limited and bathroom tiny but really it's... More

This hotel just keeps getting better. Another magic holiday at Echo Hotel, our third stay with many more to come. The standout this year was the updated ski room, which has been doubled in size, and is one of the most practical ski rooms that we have used. The location of Echo just can't be beaten, with restaurants right out the... More

This was our first time staying in Echoland (we usually stay in (Happo One). We found the echo hotel to be in a great location. We walked to most places from here. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was average. We were told that the options on offer change most mornings but out of the 10... More

We stayed at Echo Hotel from 1st March for 7 nights and had the most amazing time... we did not want to leave. Our 2 bedroom apartment exceeded our expectations and it was a pleasure returning from the slopes each day. We made very good use of the cosy bar downstairs and the staff gave us tips on restaurants and... More

Tina was informative, friendly and prompt when booking the trip. The staff at the hotel were really helpful and obliging. Kato-San in particular was a standout. He... More

I am writing this on our last of 6 nights in Echo Hotel, Hakuba. We have had a family holiday learning to snowboard. The hotel has been great. The family room we booked is simple, spacious and clean- a double bed , and bunk beds for the kids through a door to a second room . They also have family... More

The hotel is small by today's standards but we were allocated a room with two separate bedrooms, one with a QB and the other with a bunk bed (perfect of the kids). “The chalet was great, as it's across the road from the hotel and completely detached, so very quiet. if you want peace and quiet and your own front door, bang in the middle of the village, it would be hard to better this chalet. Not the most luxurious place we've ever stayed, but great value for money and very comfortable.”
