A wonderful nine days with Michelle and all the happy Ridge team. The evening dining menu was superb! Happy hour beside the fire with a spectacular view finished off a great days skiing. They will continue to stay ahead of the competition if their contemporary style of layout and furnishings are refreshed regularly. Only problem in letting everyone know how...

An excellent experience with a great host (Michelle) who went above and beyond to help us. Classy rooms that are cozy. The location is close to rhythm hire and close to kokosai chairlift. The dry room is spacious and not smelly. Nice area for the kids (nintendo wii) and a bar for the adults.

The Ridge is architecturally stunning with elegant interior designs, set in remarkable natural beauty. A true winter wonderland. The staff at The Ridge Hakuba made me feel welcome as if I was part of their family. I particularly loved the mixed team of Australians and Japanese, making it feel familiar yet exotic. Service was above and beyond. The view from...

Our friends were staying at Ridge and our family of 5 visited them a few times for drinks in the bar, dinner at the restaurant and just to catch up. The Ridhe hotel staff couldn't be more welcoming to us if they tried. The service, restaurant and bar service and food fantastic and apartments looked beautiful. Could do nothing but...

This is a beautiful, stylish and expertly run hotel a short walk from the foot of Happo-one, the lift ticket office and Evergreen Ski School. I was so impressed with the quality of the hotel fitout and service that I was moved to write this, my first, Trip Advisor review. We travelled here with our children aged 12, 9 and...

This was our first time at The Ridge after staying at the Tokyu the previous year. Made my booking at about 10 months in advance (yes it gets fully booked during the peak season) and communication with the front desk was smooth and efficient. On arrival the place did not disappoint, and the view from the penthouse was breath taking....

The Ridge is a great hotel in Hakuba. The service at The Ridge is the best. Nothing was to much trouble. It was our 2nd time at The Ridge and was even better the 2nd time. Close to everything we wanted. We will be back.

This was our second time staying at the Ridge and the experience was as good as the last time if not better! What a coincidence we got assigned to the same room (room 207) this year as well. It's got an undisrupted mountain view of the slopes and the gondola so you can imagine how pleasant it was waking up...

Basics are done well - comfy beds, clean room, nice decor, hearty ski breakfast in English style. Service was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. Far posher hotels could learn a thing or two here. Staff here are really great. Hotel has a bus which you can ask to take you to the slopes or to a restaurant in the...
