We were allocated a room on the 4th floor above the Onsen area. The room was HUGE for Japan Standards. We had 4 beds and a large bathroom. The bathroom had a separate toilet and separate 'wet room' that contained a bath and separate shower. This is the best designed bathroom I have seen in Japan. The room had heaps...

I stayed here 6 years ago and enjoyed it. It now appears that nothing has been done to maintain it in the past six years. The curtains in the room were torn, the paint on the appliances was flaking. We were provided with a kettle but no cups or glasses anywhere in the room to enable us to use it...

Family of 3 for skiing. Probably one of the best located "lodges" for access to the Adam Gondola. Samurai dinner experience was a ball of fun and entertainment plus! Staff all very helpful and friendly. Breakfast provided was very good compared to other hotels in Shiga Kogen and Nozawa that we stayed at. Very central to anything you need, but...

Three of us (all adults) had a triple bed room. Good size room for a Japanese standard hotel and good street view from the room. Reasonable breakfast. We enjoyed the outdoor Onsen and massage chairs almost everyday after the slopes. Free wifi at the common room only. Short walk to Adam Gondola and free shuttle bus just outside the hotel...

When I first saw our room I was a little disappointed. It was small with only a tiny attic window which was to high to see out of. However as we were only in the room to sleep so wasn't a big issue. There is a great common area which allows guests to mingle and use the massage chairs after...

Stayed at the hotel 4 nights. The hotel is right next the Gondola, but you need to walk down a steep driveway and a 10 minutes walk to the bottom of the Gondola. The room and the toilet is okay. The breakfast is not as good as other Japanese B&B, however, still okay. Did not try the dinner as the...

Hotel Century promises more than it delivers. The outdoor onsen (hot tub) was broken. Every room was SUPPOSED to have a view, but our first room only had a small window near the ceiling. After some complaining, they switched us to a better room with a good view. The bathroom had a sewage smell to it that would come into...

The hotel is very fairly reviewed on here. The location is excellent... Right next to the Happo Gondola and at the bottom of the hotel drive is a bus stop to take you to the other runs. We had a Japanese futon room, not a comfy bed... But with extra blankets so used those to cushion the bed. The food...

Have just stayed at the Century for seven nights, it was a bit of a shock when we first saw the room, no coffee/tea facilites, beds aren't that comfortable and would say over-priced for what you get. However, the staff are off course very friendly, (but that is the Japanese thing). The breakfasts were predictable and pretty tasteless. Location is...

Very good small hotel with a very welcoming atmosphere. Cozy lobby area with massage chairs and good beer. Did not eat at the restaurant other than for breakfast. Bf was ok. Rooms where good and we had a perfect overlook over the slopes and the gondola! Good ski storage room and a short walk to the gondola (60 meters?)
