January 2016 was our second visit to Hakuba and the Mominoki hotel. Whilst thinking about your stay in Happo One it might be tempting to dismiss the Mominoki but let me tell you that is probably a big mistake. All depends on what you are looking for but if its facilities and sociability plus the best Onsen in town them...

room was tiny, but bed was comfortable. bathroom was VERY tiny. having a fridge in room was nice. the view was nice, too. Onsen onsite was the biggest perk. Restaurant was great, and the staff was kind.

In snow season, we stay at Mominoki almost every weekend. Friendly staff, good food, clean room make us feeling like at home. And dipping into the onsen, or outside hot spring bath, after a day of skiing/snowboarding is simply the best!

The free hotel shuttle greeted us at the bus station and delivered us to a warm inviting lobby with a spectacular bar/lounge - an area where we would spend some time - particularly during happy hour. Our room wasn't large but quite functional with 2 casual chairs under the window. The bathroom had a big step up to it and...

Travelled with a group of ten including six kids from ages 6 to 21. Rooms extremely comfortable with a touch of Japanese in some having tatami mats. Good snow late in the season. Brilliant staff, great service and really comfortable hotel. Highly recommended. Try the Japanese buffet at least once - it's sensational.

Stayed for 5 nights with my partner. Great hotel, would definitely return. The onsen is simply incredible and never overly busy - even when visiting during peak period (mid feb). Close to snow gear hire, restaurants, pubs, village shuttle, and slopes. The hotel also provides a shuttle that will drop you at the venue of your choice in town -...

My son and I stayed here for 7 nights whilst skiing in the Hakuba valley. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every regard. The room with twin beds was a generous size and well appointed. The staff at the hotel were always very obliging. The ski storage and boot drying facilities were awesome. The onsen was gray and a daily...

We Stayed here over Chinese New Year for skiing. It was an excellent location, right next door to Rhythm rentals and within walking distance of the Happo Gondola and the Evergreen ski schools. The rooms was basic but spotlessly clean and perfect for a ski holiday. We stayed in a 3 bed family room with our daughter. The onsen in...
