Interesting fusion of French, Italian, Japanese and Chinese food. Visited on 2017-03-31, and the price for dinner is around 5500yen (drink and tax excluded), which is quite reasonable. What I like is the passion to find the good of different cuisine, and keeping the flavour of the food, and seasoning and sauce not too strong. Worth to try.

We went there for a birthday meal and the staff went to so much effort. They presented the birthday girl with a beautiful dessert platter with a birthday message in chocolate writing and sang happy birthday. It sounds corny but it was done so well it was brilliant. The meal was delicious and the attention to detail was perfect. The...

This is written from the perspective of a middle aged Australian Couple, intermediate skiers, who were visiting Nozawa Onsen for the first time, having previously been to Hakaba and Niseko. We were recommended Haus St Anton by friends, and found this to be highly satisfactory. The position is excellent; right in the middle of the village, with easy access to...

When the budget allows, St. Anton is number 1 choice in Nozawa. The staff are beyond friendly contributing to the overall family-like atmosphere in the hotel. They make their own amazing fruit/berry jams and serve those for breakfasts. Dinners are definitely also not to wish any more of. Even when I stay at other places in Nozawa, I go and...

Great breakfast in the morning with your own toaster and plenty of food & coffee. Location is prefect - within feet from bars and restaurants. I little bit of a walk to the...

Hosts could not help enough, making our late and inconvenient arrival seem like their preferred arrangement. Cozy and charming rooms, great food in the on-site restaurant (be brave and try the Japanese breakfast), and the best temperature onsen in the village that really soaks away the tired ski legs. All staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, would recommend in an...

Our stay at Nozawa was perfected by the management in Haus of Anton. Our Ski Agency booked our ski hire at the most inappropriate location. Apparently there are two Ski Station in Nozawa. One is Hikage Station the other is Nagasaka Station. Hikage Station is only 10 mins from Haus St Anton by walking. Where as Nagasaka is 20 mins...

“First decide if you want your own bathroom and if a light sleeper as hotel for a room not facing main street. Also I did not see a lift so if you don't want to walk up and down flights of stairs request a lower floor - skiing can be exhausting enough.”
