My partner and daughter stayed here. The hotel is clean, the staff are responsive. This is a family hotel, nice, nothing to write home about. A good choice if you are looking for good value in Okinawa.

This is a nice hotel/resort. Not fantastic, but nice. The R (Renaissance) on the building is misleading. The hotel is below standards if compared with Renaissance brand. It looks and feels like a 4 star Government or Public hotel. The room was Club Level. Neat and well kept but looked like anybody's grandmother's nice and well maintained old furniture and... More

As most travelers I do my research ahead of time, I was a bit concerned when I booked this based on some previous reviews. They were wrong. I found the staff to be exceptionally helpful with good English. This is a beautiful location with fabulous restaurants and a travel desk for excursions. If you want to leave, but no need.... More

Just came back from this resort, was there for 10 days, and it is such a full service place. There were mostly families with small children because they have so many outdoor activities. The restaurants are excellent and have many choices both Asian and American. The service is absolutely top notch and deserves a 5 star rating. The only reason... More

Very good hotel with a great location that is close to Okinawa's dive sites. The service in the hotel is outstanding. As a Privee Guest you get free breakfast in a choice of three restauarants, including the posh Four Seasons at no extra charge. Lunch is also free for Privee Guests, as well as the use of the Marine activities,... More

We actually transferred from the Ritz Carlton to the Renaissance Resort because the Renaissance Resort was much closer to Okinawa City. Since we were there for business as well as pleasure that was a better location. We got a room with two twin beds that we were able to turn into a king with a bit of creative rearranging of... More

We stayed here for three days, it was the biggest mistake we've ever made. The website offers all kinds of marine activities, but the reality is sadly well below expectations. You have to pay extra for every thing, beach parasols, chairs etc. The special activities, which are highly advertised, such as swimming with dolphins and rays, which you'd expect to... More

We stayed at the Renaissance Okinawa for 4 days in July. The hotel is far from the airport and although the hotel offers a shuttle bus, you need to go to the domestic terminal and be aware of the pick up hours because you may need to wait at the airport a little bit. Taxi is extremely expensive like $100... More

I had a lot of points and this was right on the beach, so I couldn't pass this up for my family. My wife and I came with my parents and our three older teenagers. I read some reviews about the number of kids at the resort, so I came prepared, but it turned out to never be a problem.... More
