Great hot spring resort , so relaxing ! breakfast and dinner was great BUT it would help if the staff can speak more English so we can understand what we were eating. Overall, this is the place if you need a relaxing holiday. There is absolutely no shopping around so be prepared to bring a book to relax and enjoy....

No place is better than Bosui in Izu, Shizuoka, two hours from Tokyo Station. The water is soooo good, we bath, not once, but twice a day. Our threapist gave us the best massage and treatment We ever have.

This is my second time visit Bousui Ito. Again, my families and friends enjoy the hot spring ( outside national hot pool by the sea, public, house and in-room) All staff take good care on us. Dinner and breakfast r delicious. Quilt, pillow and tatami bed r very clean and comfortable that gave my 1Y3M baby son the best sleeping...

Really recommend the private bath! The view is awesome and the food ( wagyu beef) is delicious. Next time, I will definitely check in as early as possible and book the private bath immediately! The service is good too. Everything is just so perfect except the price. Well, kinda expensive consider 35000 yen per person. But worth it

Good service, clean, great ocean view. The private bath room is huge with great Ocean view but only 50mins per room which is not enough and feel pressure of Time limit while you taking the Onsen. The western breakfast is good with Variety of food. They serve the fresh tomato in the morning right in front of Onsen on ground...

Firstly I will mention that I have been going to Japanese Ryokan for 30 years and have visited more than 100 so I have a bit of experience. Bosui is my current favorite hot spring ryokan to go to , to relax. I have been going there since it opened and have visited 8 times. I have never been disappointed....

Second stay here. The first was in 2005. Bousui is a wonderful seaside ryokan along the coast of the Izu peninsula easily reached by express train from Tokyo. Besides the large common baths on the 1st level guests can also reserve a "private gazebo". This is actually just a large room with a private bath you can have to yourself...
