Stayed here in December 2014 and was left disappointed. I also had a chance to check out a number of rooms as its part of my job to do so. The restaurant area is excellent. Stayed one night in one of the rooms than can handle multiple guests. Spacious accommodations, clean and right near the harbor. I would probably recommend one of the rooms in the main wing on the second floor. The hotel will send a van to pick you up if you let them which ferry that you are taking. Some Japanese is...

If you are planning to visit SW Japan, you should include a trip to the remote Oki Islands. They are 2 hours away by high speed ferry but a world away. My pick of the Oki Islands is NishinoShima, and without question the Oki Seaside Hotel Tsurumaru would be the place to stay. They have a mix of Japanese rooms...
