We have been traveling on charter trips numerous times to various destinations. This resort is the best to date, with a nice location at the very beach front, nice staff and a consistently rich and delicious breakfast/lunch/dinner buffet for those who, like us, had chosen the "Inclusive" option. I strongly recommend to purchase the Inclusive, given the delicious food.
With the Covid19 measures imposed in various countries, including Spain, we were uncertain on whether we should go on a trip this year during the kids school holiday. We are very happy that we made up our minds to book this trip, as we had a wonderful vacation, with not too much people.
We visited the hotel as the first guests after an eight month shutdown, so the staff was a bit nervous to see how it should fare. It fared well indeed, and we are happy to support the local tourist industry, which has suffered badly for months.
The mandatory mask wearing at public places feels a bit awkward from times to times, while you don't need a mask while seated for meals and when in the pool or swimming at the beach (you can also go jogging without a mask).
The hotel had impeccable hygienic standards with mask-wearing staff, alcogel stations spread across the facilities and routines for guests having meals (clean your hands with alcogel before entering the restaurant, wear mask when ordering food - the staff will bring you the food items from the buffet that you would like to eat). We had an amazing stay here. The staff and the facilities are top notch. Since we have a lot of food allergies in our family it was important to be safe with meals and we felt they took us seriously and gave the best service available and customized our meals to our needs. It is easy to see for a frequent traveler that this staff is professional and try really hard. The buffet is clean, fresh and well stocked for all needs. We opted for the baby care pack and got all our needs covered with a nice baby bed and stroller.
There seems to be pride in the staffs work and this means so much for a pleasant stay. If there is anything to point out it would be to have step strips (anti slide tape) on the walkways or at least at the inclines as it felt a little unsafe since they are all tiles and get super slippy when wet, but that is all.
The location is great and has easy access to the beach and also has a bus stop right by and parking is right outside or a one-two min walk, very convenient. The whole place is clean and professional and you are met with smiles by the staff wherever you go. There is a shop for immediate needs on site, a Spar across the road and also a great mall only a few minutes away by car or bus.
We highly recommend this place and hope to come back some day. Thank you so much, especially for keeping our meals safe for us and make us and our little son feel so very welcome.

The food was unfortunately not very impressive, monotonous and tasteless. On two occasions we went out for dinner at the nearby restaurant. A much better taste experience there unfortunately. Too much ice was used for the drinks, which completely watered them down.
The noise level is high, very young children and lots of screaming.
Easy to get to Puerto rico by taxi and amadores beach is just a short walk away. However, you need comfortable shoes as some climbing on the stones is required to walk. Otherwise, taxi works fine and does not cost much.
Overall a nice hotel, the service is what stands out here because it is really good and everyone is so friendly.

Welcome package with wine, fruit, soda, water ++ lovely room overlooking the sea, hears the waves when the balcony door is open, but not when it closes. Comfortable beds and good pillows. Spent a week at the hotel in December 2020. It has to be the best all inclusive hotel I have ever visited. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean with a high standard.
The breakfast buffet made a good start of the day, with a wide variety of bread and spread, plus the more continental sort of breakfast. Lunch buffet also very good, before dinner gave the choice to either choose from a handful dinner dishes or to order from an ala-carte menu.
In addition there were snacks, pizza and burgers between the meals. Face mask was mandatory in the restaurant, due to covid-19. The staff appeared strictly, but also friendly in order to ensure the guests followed the rules.
The hotel was far from fully booked this week, but I think there never will be an issue not to get a sunbed. The pool held a high twenty degrees temperature I think, and the only little thing to remark is that the floor around is very slippery.
Wifi very good, no problem to stream whatever I wanted in my room. I think it was number 413, with a nice view beyond the sea. Rooms also very nice and clean, with the bedroom just inside the door and a living-room in the other part next to the balcony.
Playa del Cura is a very quiet little place, but the bus connections are good to every place at the island as I could see. If you want a calm holiday and don't need high and noisy music by the pool all day, or childrens disco and mediocre entertainment at a stage in the night this is really a good place to stay.

Just returned from a week in this little paradise. Me, my husband & two teenagers had booked a suite with pool access which was absolutely perfect for us. The rooms were large so everyone could have their own space. The fact that we had pool access gave the stay a golden edge and we spent many lovely days on the terrace. It included cleaning & new fresh towels upon request & everyone got a bathrobe each. It is clean & fresh. We thought the food was great, you could vary between buffet and à la carte, however we didn't have All Inclusive, which meant we could eat out sometimes, which was great. A big plus on the edge regarding the food is that the hotel takes food allergies into account 👌🏼 There were also very good connections with taxis which allowed us to visit nearby villages such as Melanores. The beach is very close to the hotel, and is perfectly fine but nothing more than that. At the hotel there are various training sessions during the days which we thought were great 👍🏼 We are super satisfied and would definitely go back 🏖️

Stayed for a week with the family in March 2024. The hotel had a very good breakfast buffet and nice staff in both the restaurant and reception. Fresh overall and felt that it was clean and tidy in the rooms. Nice to have fruits and drinks in the room when we arrived. Good children's pool with sun protection. Mostly families with children and it was noticeable in the noise level at the entire pool area. The shower in the room did not work well, either boiling hot water or ice cold, for a short while something in between. The floor in the hotel room was also very cold, missing slippers. The a la carte food was not good, tried lunch from the menu twice and do not recommend it. Also missing a normal (sun) chair on the balcony, there was only a large sofa, which was impossible to move and which got very hot in the sun. Otherwise quiet area playa del cura. There were several restaurants to choose from for lunch or dinner. It's a pity that you can't avoid walking towards Amadores, but a taxi is needed.

Me and my two children age 5 and 3 years had a great week at this resort. It located spoilingly close to the beach. It was made very easy for me as a parent travelling alone with two small children. We had chosen the all inclusive alternative and were happy with the food. There were plenty of tasty and various options at the buffet so no need to use the a la carte menu. I especially liked the tapas buffet. Very helpful and kind staff from reception, restaurant, kitchen, bar, house keeping to pool guard. The Lollo and Bernie club was amazing for the kids. Especially Linus deserves a great applause for his dedication. The rooms are light and spacious and kept clean and tidy. There's a mini market at the hotel as well as gym and laundry room. No experience from this. We went to the SPAR very close to the hotel the few times we wanted something. During our stay we made to day trips. One to Puerto Rico and one to Arguineguin, easily accessed by both taxi and public bus. We would love to come again <3.

We had a wonderful time at O.B.C. The room was great, balcony amazing with lounge furniture and beanbages and veiw of the ocean. Excellent breakfast with good (healthy and un-healthy choices). Nice clean pool area with enough sunloungers. Scandinavian kids club was great for both young and older kids (2 separate clubs). Direct acces to the beach. No noghttime entertainment, just quiet and stars above.
Only thing to improve is if it is possible to add an area with a waterslide and similar for older kids - they got a bit bored in the pool sometimes (it should be separate from the main pool though)
We went a year ago this month and we dream of going back as soon as the world opens up again.

We were three girls who went to this hotel and had a great trip! quiet and nice for being a family hotel. in the restaurant you had a sea view and the food was superb and felt luxurious when you ordered dinner from an a la carte menu. the room was in good condition, however we could often find insects. a good pool and many sunbeds. the beach was perfectly fine but the water was not that fresh, buses go often and cheaply to nearby nicer beaches! nice gym but some of the machines were in poor condition and would need to be replaced. no entertainment in the evenings, but the bar is open where we often played cards. big thanks to the staff who were very accommodating and special thanks to Ruben who was very kind!

I'll answer my own question. You have to book dinner time online so it never gets too busy during dinner time. The longest wait for us was 20 minutes for the main course which was sometimes even too fast so no problem there whatsoever.
There are more places to choose from in the Playa de Cura area.
