What a wonderful choice of accommodation for a special night. From the first moment I felt welcome and at home in this exceptional property built in the 1800's. From the lovely welcome drink and sweet treat on arrival through to the bubble bath and gorgeous room. With a great chauffer service to and from my event and an exceptional breakfast...

We foud this lovely place quite by chance. It exudes old world charm whilst being suitable for well behaved kids. We enjoyed the wonderful breakfasts and sitting on the terrace for our dinner. They were very accomadating with extra bedding when one of our party was quite ill.

Linda (the Owner and Manager) is definitely a Professional at the Bed & Breakfast business. She has an eye for the detail. Everything was perfect. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was great. She cooked everything we asked, and more.

We stayed at the Cottage in the grounds of Tairoa Lodge. It was clean with very comfortable and stylish furniture. Would recommend this property if you are looking for total privacy. The only negative (and it's not really one) is the hosts were out of town and we weren't sure what to do with the key when we left. But...
