This little B&B sits right on the water, and our room had a lovely balcony hanging over the rocky shore. We could have sat there for hours, watching the water, the occasional swordfish boats, the sea birds, and even a bridal party being shot against...More
Everything about our stay at La Veduta was perfecto! The location in the beautiful fishing village of Chianalea village in the little town of Scilla is simply stunning. This is one of the most naturally beautiful places we have ever stayed in. The B&B itself...More

Sorry for the late response, I am just finding your question now! We took the train to Reggio airport and rented a car there. Driving in the area was easy with GPS. About a 20-30 minute ride from there. It is so worth the drive to get to this B and B. I assure you, you will not regret your choice to stay here. The owner is a wonderful and vivacious personality. She has studied to learn some English and does much better than she gives herself credit for. She is very helpful and a perfect hostess. When we next visit Italy, this place will definitely be our first choice!

Yes, but it's REALLY difficult! La Veduta is on a very narrow one way street, and everyone who lives on the street parks there. There is a "parking lot" only a few minutes away, but it only takes 4 or 5 cars, and it's usually full. BUT if you arrived in the afternoon, you might get lucky. We wouldn't DREAM of driving into that teensy road, but the locals do it all the time. AND La Veduta is worth it!! If you email Michele, he might tell you where to park in Scilla and he could pick you up.
