This B&B is stunning! Very well renovated and Florence and Dominique are very welcoming. We stayed here for 2 nights with our 2 children (ages 11 and 17) in the family room in August to use it as a base to visit the D-Day beaches and museums as well as the Bayeux Tapestry. The B&B is ideally located just a... More

We stayed here during March 2016 on a family (2 adults and two kids 8&9) trip to look through the Normandy landings. We stayed in the top family room, which is spacious, very characterful and very well maintained. Perfect for ourselves. Florence & Dominique were brilliant hosts (joining us for dinner, which is highly recommended and very well prepared), very... More

We were a family of 7 that stayed at Les Chaufourniers last June, 2015. We wish we were going this year. Florence & Dominique were impeccable hosts. We stayed for a 4 course dinner one evening at Les Chaufourniers and the courgette clafoutis was sublime. Next time we will stay a week. On the other nights, they recommended restaurants in... More

we stayed here for nearly a week and loved the whole experience. we were in the larger quarters and had more than enough space for 2 couples (my parents and husband/me). It was beautiful and clean. A great place to come home to after day trips in the region

Florence and Dominic were wonderful hosts and their B+B is lovely. Quiet in a small village, but that. alas, made it hard to find. Get directions before traveling! A few miles outside Bayeaux (our preference), but convenient for visits there (museums, dinner) and touring of area, including American DDay beaches and related museums. Great breakfast!

It's about 8-9km from Bayeux in a tiny little hamlet, so you will definitely need a car. The setting and grounds are a lovely traditional courtyard with nice gardens, and the host couple could not have been more friendly or accommodating - right down to the excellent welcome caramels in the room. The room itself was tastefully presented and spotlessly... More
