We stayed as part of a 17 strong group of cyclists touring the island. We were charmed by this grand old mansion and its annexe buildings, whilst comfortable and well equipped it retains its sense and feel of history. There are a series of attractive stone staircases and arches leading to very large and thoughtfully decorated bedrooms, and the excellent...

This is a very nice rustic hotel in central Sardinia. Wonderful atmosphere and helpful staff. What sets it apart were the two Euro 30 5 course meals at dinner which were well in the top 10 of food experiences we have had around the world. Up there with our finest from Sydney and New York. Easily the best from our...

Thoroughly enjoyed our 1 night stay here. The courtyard dinner was amazing value and the menu was extremely well thought out, using local ingredients and adding refined twist to traditional recipes. The place is situated in a pretty mountain village. We had one of the more modern rooms (gorgeous art deco). It was situated in a building in a street...

Well priced Albergo Diffuso in the heart of the old part of the town of Santu Lussurgiu. The courtyard must be experienced as it is as pretty as a postcard with fresh fruit and vegetables laid out in preparation for lunch and dinner. Breakfast should be a high point of your stay with freshly baked goods and juice so fresh...

This hotel was such a lovely surprise. After a long ride we were welcomed through the picture perfect courtyard to our room with a view over the church and town. The shower was heaven!!! We had dinner that night at the hotel and it will be a dinner that the two of us will remember for ever!!! Course after course...

We were booked into this hotel at the start of our walking holiday, and in a way it was a shame as it was the nicest place we stayed in (two nights). It gets an excellent rating for its atmosphere, its stunning and friendly service and of course its restaurant. Its breakfasts, too, are excellent: homemade jams, local cheeses, cakes.......

Cycling through this hilly region so rich in history, we were glad to have reached our day's goal as we entered this gorgeously charming courtyard shaded by lemon trees and bordered with pots of garden herbs. The outside kitchen where the fresh produce is stored is a picture of country charm. We had the amazing luck to be given the...

This is a diffuso Albergo and so you can be put into one of a number of buildings. We were in the building up the hill from the main building. This involved a lot of stairs, which didnt worry us but may be a problem for some people. Also there was no wifi in this room because of the thick...

We arrived to a vast wooden gate, slightly imposing, but having rung the bell we were warmly greeted and invited in. We ended up with the ground floor apartment - the twin bathrooms were appreciated. The courtyard is slightly dark, because of the fruit trees, heavy with fruit and the beautiful smells of herbs. The quality of the room was...
