My sister and I were given a warm welcome, a cuppa and chocolate cake! Our room was very good with comfortable beds, toiletries in the shower room and cookies etc on the hospitality tray. The breakfast was excellent, especially the fresh fruit salad and local honey. My sister was pleased to have gluten free sausages and toast. Overall a very...

I stayed at The White House for the first time this week - it was a a great little find. My room was spacious enough, but also cosy, and was nice and warm for when I got in. The bed was very comfy and there was a good selection of soft and firm pillows so I slept well. The shower...

We were warmly welcomed, with our dog, into a lovely room with all the necessary appointments. Small but niggely points to improve : noisy bathroom extractor ( we couldn't find how to turn it off), over-softened towels (limit for allergy sufferers), a little more flexibility would be nice on allowing the pet in breakfast room ( there are separate tables...

Stayed for one night so we could have an extended visit to Bletchley Park which is conveniently close by. Didn't get there until after dark but the house looked lovely with the Christmas lights on and it was warm and welcoming. We were offered tea and homemade mince pies when we arrived and I agree, Mike and Sue are very...

Sadly only stayed one night in this cosy B&B but were made welcome on our arrival and found our room to be cosy and well stocked with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. Nice touch having fresh milk in the kitchen and the cake looked delicious. Comfortable bed, good shower and tasty breakfast. These friendly hosts have thought of everything and...

On arrival, we had a very warm welcome from Mike and Sue. The offer of tea and home-cake before we unpacked was a nice surprise. The room was spacious and welcoming. From the complimentary tea and coffee, to the shampoo and shower gel, had we forgotten ours. In the hall cupboard was extra toothpaste and toothbrushes should they be needed....

We stayed here just now and found Mike and Sue to be very thoughtful hosts, from the tea and homemade cake on arrival to the wine glasses provided for the bottle of wine brought back from the restaurant where we'd had supper. The room was spacious and toasty warm and the breakfast was good and hearty. This B & B...

We were only staying one night, as we had assembled for a school friends reunion, near one of the group. The room was excellent, very comfortable beds, and lovely little en suite facilities. The owners were friendly without being obtrusive, and just made sure we had everything we needed, including access to cake in the night! Nice touches in the...
