This wonderful property set on the hillside of a quiet country village was an absolute joy to stay for two nights in early October. Our hosts couldn't have been more helpful and inviting and gave us a great alternative (Arlington Court) from our intended visit to Lundy Isle which was canceled due to weather conditions at sea. Room 9 which...

Highly recommend this wonderful hotel. The hosts were amazing and were so welcoming to our pug gizmo and 4 month old baby. The cream tea and scones on arrival were a lovely touch and the breakfast was wonderful and set us up lovely for the day's exploring.

We have stayed in the village several times before however the place we usually stay at was full so we tried The Lodge who had vacancies. The hosts were pleasant and the room was self contained, spacious with all ameneties and it's own entrance. The beds were very comfortable and the garden was lovely with great views. The only criticisms...

Thank you for the review, sorry you had a couple issues, I had just washed the carpet the previous week. Towels are dried on the line in the garden then tumbled to soften them so not sure what has happened there. Pleased you and the children enjoyed the garden, and hope you will return.

We stayed as a group of seven and Lynne and Phil could not have been more accommodating to our needs, including a baby and dog. The B&B is set in the most gorgeous gardens which we were lucky enough to spend lots of time in due to the lovely weather. Breakfast was one of the best I have experienced with...

We visited the Lodge for a long weekend in April. The rooms are specious and the hotel beautifully well kept. The hosts are lovely and could not do enough for us. We would definitely recommend. Oh and the breakfasts are great.

I would fully recommend this B&B/guest house for anyone looking for a relaxing break in North Devon. The house is set in one of the more attractive villages and in beautiful gardens. The welcome could not have been more warm and generous - a complimentary Devon cream tea on the lawn. Our room (Room 3) was freshly and tastefully decorated,...

This was a lovely place to stay, having the freedom to come and go as we pleased, with a self contained room accessed via the beautifully kept garden. The breakfasts were lovely, and the proprietors were very friendly. The room was nice and clean with beautiful views, and the bathroom en suite facilities were of a comfortable size too. An...
