I booked a weekend stay at Throstle nest for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary. From the outset Paula was extremely helpful and accommodating and even organised a bottle of bubbly in our room. Upon arriving we were stunned at both the beauty of the surrounding area and the farmhouse itself - simply breathtaking. All the staff at...

We stayed at Throstle Nest for 6 nights while sightseeing in the area. It was a quiet haven after a busy day of driving on the wrong side of the road for us. The breakfasts, daily sweet treat and lovely conversations were just perfect. The hosts were so helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were prepared perfectly and were so large,...

Stayed here 2 nights, mid week in July - Cannot find a thing anything negative to say at all. Room was gorgeous, clean, fresh baking both days left in our room. Deep bath for a lovely soak at the end of the day. Super King size bed and really comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with so much choice, full for rest...

Once found this does offer the most amazing views! In a quiet area and few miles from Skipton. We did have trouble with contacting them and a broken lamp on arrival however beds comfy, been done nice. Complaints and they are just minor are it needs bit of a dust, clean. Sockets/room layout could be thought out more. No water...

We have just returned home after a very peaceful 2 night stay. The location is fantastic, with nothing surrounding you but countryside. Although you have easy access to local villages and town centres. The room was very clean with all the necessary items like tea and coffee making facilities, a TV and a hair dryer. The breakfast we bad was...

Visited Throstle Nest recently for a six day break and received a very warm and friendly welcome when we arrived. The room was a good size, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Tea and coffee facilities were available in the room and downstairs in the lounge. A homemade cake in the room when we returned after a busy day was very welcome....

What a find. Nestled into the Aire Valley with stunning views, that is just the start. This B&B is up there with the best I have ever stayed at. Great hosts, fantastic touches like a guest lounge, top toiletries, home made cake on the arrival tray etc - all make a massive difference. Location, location, location is everything but the...

A simply stunning place to stay. We stayed in room 4 which has a super king bed which was so comfy. The hosts are lovely and will do anything for you. The breakfasts are delicious and the full English sets you up for the day. Skipton is a lovely place and the Wooly Fleece does great food. Bolton Abbey is...

Had a very recent one night stay. One of the best B&B's I've stayed in, very high quality room and a very good breakfast. I would stay again, my only criticism would be that the single bedroom is quite small and not as good value as the rest of the rooms.

Stayed for three nights recently. Excellent location. Within easy reach of Skipton where we found excellent places to eat. Warm welcome given by hosts and the most wonderful view to take in at breakfast. Freshly cooked breakfast served between 8am and 9.30 which set us up well for a day out walking. We stayed in room 4 which has the...
