An excellent short stay. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The breakfast was very good. A good location to visit Highcliffe Castle and other local attractions. Easy reach of Bournemouth by bus.

We go down to (just outside) the New Forest in October every year to meet up with a group of friends. For the last 5 or 6 years we've been going to the Castle Lodge and for the last three it's been hosted by Sue and Keith. For two nights Sue cooks for us and we play bridge afterwards. For...

We came here for the weekend for one of our friends weddings. On arrival, we were upgraded free of charge to a room with a four poster bed with a view of the lovely garden. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. Also the bed was very comfortable, hope to come back soon.

The location is great too, both for access to the lovely coastline, via the castle grounds and the direct bus route to Bournemouth and Lymington. We would recommend this great...

My mom and I stayed at Castle Lodge for two nights. Very comfortable beds, clean linen, towels etc. Although Castle Lodge doesn't have an official AA rating I would say it is equivalent to a four or five star place. Lovely and helpful hosts. I would come back here again. Our room looked out onto the car park, which was...
