7 of us stayed there to attend an evening event in Andermatt. We could not have been made more welcome by Leo, the owner and his partner Barbara. I loved the accomodation which had comfy beds, modern showers and was very clean. I did not think it was too cold as one reviewer said. Breakfast was very good and plenty,...

I really liked this place. It's basic but that's part of its charm. Everything is very clean and beds again while basic are comfy. Plenty of toilets, very clean and showers were good The staff are great, very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

On arrival they asked what we wanted to drink and it seemed like a wellcome drink until they present you with the bill. This was not very appropriate not to mention it was not a wellcome drink. We were told to take the bus from the lodge to go to Gemstock (less than 5 min drive). In the evening we...

The new owners treated us wonderfully. We had been cycling for a few weeks and needed a good rest. We chatted with the new owners & then they made us dinner. We felt very welcome and like very special guests. Everything is very clean and newly remodeled. I highly recommend this little gem tucked into the mountains of Switzerland. A...

We did not feel welcome at all. A lot of things went wrong and weren't addressed in an appropriate way. Food orders were messed up. Room was not cleaned for three days. All very unprofessional and indeed handled poorly. No standards - not managed at all. This is rather sad, as the place a has a lot of potential. Will...

We didn't know what to expect here but found a FABULOUS lodge. It is basic but clean and modern. We arrived in the mist and settled by the log burner, had an excellent homely meal with bear and wine and retired to a very comfy bed. We could not have asked for more and would absolutely stay here again. Hospental...

Started with a huge salad and lots of fresh grey bread. Followed by a generous portion of yak bolognaise topped with local cheese. Our table also had the homemade pesto pasta and garlic bread which was reportedly very. All the food is homemade and local meats, cheeses and herbs are a real feature. The food was healthy hearty and delicious...

Absolutely one of the best places that we stayed on our 7 week tour of France, Italy and Switzerland (including one of the best meals!, and croissants that rival the best of France). We were only going to stay one night, but changed our plans to spend our last three days in Switzerland at the Sust Lodge. We would have...
