Wonderful B&B. Spent three nights here with my brother & husband ( we had the Garden room & my brother had the loft room). Both rooms extremely comfortable & immaculately clean. We really appreciated being able to turn the radiators up or down to the heat we felt comfortable with, not as deemed fit by the owner( which has happened on...

We stayed here for two nights and were very well looked after. When we arrived we were treated to afternoon tea and lovely scones. The rooms are nice and spacious, and the breakfasts were delicious, with home made oatcakes and scones. We stayed in the bungalow of the old smiddy earlier this month. It was extremely well presented, well equipped, and very comfortable. Great base for exploring the local area with walks and visits to the local villages, and also perfect for shutting away the weather with a good book! Highly recommended!

We stayed in the self-catering bungalow at Old Smiddy for four wonderful nights. The bungalow is immaculate, comfortably furnished, and well-equipped. It is situated in a beautiful pastoral setting with views of Gruinard Bay and the surrounding mountains. The bungalow was a wonderful base from which to explore many attractions such as Inverewe Gardens, the Inverpolly Nature Reserve, and several...

I spent 2 nights here in May, weather not good but warm welcome from Julia and Julian, delicious food, five star accommodation and a real treat was the view from the studio bedroom where I watched the light changing over the mountains and the birds, from buzzards to swallows - with every imaginable comfort provided.
