Comfortable apartment, flowers in the sitting room, homemade lemonade and a very welcoming host. Also an interesting peaceful garden, with lemon trees, magnolia, gardenias and a weirdly shaped tree that I've never seen before. There's a swimming pool surrounded by grass and trees, where the swallows come to drink. The Taverna sits right on the small harbour, and the beaches are less...

A beautiful eclectic mix of individually decorated rooms, set in lush green grounds, in a stunning location. Apostolos, Evi and Sofia epitomize hospitality and are a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding area ans the Mamma Mia location shoots that took place in Damouchari. We stayed in the Apostolos room, dedicated to Apostolos's grandfather who was a sea merchant in...

Hotel - a lovely, quirky, arty hotel set in gently sloping, lush grounds with rooms facing and at right angles to the spacious reception/bar where personable Evi dispenses drinks and local information in at least three languages. Olive groves and vegetable patches surround the hotel, while the central gardens contain deck chairs and tables for guests to enjoy the shade....

If you are heading to Pelion, you should spend at least one night in Damouchari and we highly recommend 'Hotel Damouchari'. Fantastic owners and staff who can't do enough for you. We had a maisonette and had 2 in a double room 1 in a twin and one of us stayed downstairs which was quite comfortable. There is a beautiful...

Pleasant garden of about 400 m2, on gentle slope, opened toward North-East, surrounded by a row of small, nicely decorated, stone houses for 2-4 guests each. Small pool in one corner. In another eclectic bar, dedicated to the memories of ancestors. Seemingly detached from the rest of the world this, most of the time empty, green space is just a...

Even Greeks don'τ know where it is. A hidden paradise! Apostolos, the owner of the hotel and the taverna Karagatsi, is a person the word hospitable is less to describe. The views are picturesque. The hotel is family like and VERY peaceful. All rooms are clean and share the same view. Simply go!

We spent a very enjoyable week here in a room above Apostoli's taverna. The room was very comfortable, clean and quirky, and our small balcony looked over the bay. The bed was very comfortable and the self-catering facilites were adequate. Damouchari definitely felt 'end of season' so there was limited choice for places to eat. However, Apostoli's taverna produced excellent...

We did not have plans for the day. Stopped in the bay for sightseeing and were really nicely greeted by Apostolos the owner. So we decided to stay there. The roooms are a potpourri of pictures in different styles, but interesting. Apostolos is really nice and cares about his guests. The bay is fantastic and so is the white pebbled...

Damouhari is a little seaside village beneath mount Pelion in central Greece. The nearest city is Volos. Pelion is full of medieval perfectly preserved villages with narrow cobbled footpaths, mountain streams and wild nature. Damouhari is one of these villages and it used to be a pirate port in the 16th and 17th century. Hotel Damouhari is owned by a...

This must be the place. My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 1 week in mid-July. We had fallen in love with its romantic allure last year when we saw it, but our stay proved even better than our expectations. The lobby is almost a little ethnological museum, full of the most incredible objects and photos, the bar...
