Located on the outskirts of the village, the venue has great food with menu changed every two weeks. The staff are very friendly and opening hours are extended to all day on Sunday. Good selection of wines, and also ha rooms if you are wishing to explore Suffolk / Essex.

We stayed here for the second time recently and very much enjoyed it. Our bedroom was well appointed and decorated, the bathroom modern and warm and the bed comfortable. The staff are helpful and friendly and offer good suggestions for local visits to this lovely area of Suffolk. There is excellent walking nearby, a pretty church in the village and...

A buffet only with a choice of nutloaf, lamb tagine (not very taginey), couscos, small roast potatoes and salad, and on the other side a spread of various salmon/prawns. Badly organised so...

8 of spent a 2 nights here over New Year. The hotel is everything we hoped for, well presented, comfortable, and equipped rooms that are tastefully decorated. The staff are extremely friendly, the breakfast was one of the best I've ever had, and such a selection to choose from, all cooked fresh to order. This was a 2 night package...

We often visit the crown and are never let down. The menu selection is a good mix of seasonal dishes, old favourites and more unusual options. The food is all prepared in site and use allot of local produce. Staff at the crown are cheerful, friendly and prompt. The main bar man is very knowledgeable and friendly, as are the...
